You just have to purchase yourself some replacement tiles and the associated supplies. When buying replacement tiles, note down the model number and the manufacturer’s name of the existing tiles. Locate the defected areas and see if they lie in the visible areas. If yes then you may want to replace them with the existing tiles from less visible areas. Doing this would allow you to place new tiles in the less visible areas and hence, the finish of the roof would be maintained.

Slide the crowbar gently beneath the tile to the left of the one that needs to be replaced. Now, apply gentle pressure to the end of the crowbar to compel the tile up and out of place. Carry on the process until the adjacent tile is no longer resting on the damaged tile.

Now, carry out the same operation on the tile that is just above the damaged one. Be careful as this task requires gentle hands.

By this time, the damaged tile would be no longer surrounded by another tile. Hence, remove the damaged tile gently. To hold such type of roof tiles together, there is no need of nails.

Place the replacement tile in its place carefully and repeat the same with the left and top tiles. Try to place them exactly in the same position as they were before the repairing work.
